Mobile Home Grooming

At Fur Buddys, we bring professional dog grooming right to your home! Grooming in a familiar environment is far less stressful for your pet—no car trips, no strange smells, and no hours spent in cages.

When we arrive, our fully equipped mobile van parks conveniently in your driveway. All we ask for is access to:

An outside tap (for clean, heated water)
An electrical outlet (to power our warm-air dryer and clippers)
A suitable towel for each pet (for hygiene purposes)

Your pet is groomed inside our van and returned to the comfort of their home immediately afterward—fresh, clean, and stress-free.

Breed-Specific Grooming

Every dog is unique, and so is their coat. We assess your pet’s needs and tailor the grooming according to their breed and coat type—ensuring they not only look great but feel great too.

One-on-One Attention

At Fur Buddys, your dog receives our full, focused attention from start to finish, creating a calm, personalised grooming experience every time.

Senior Pet Care

We take special care with senior dogs, working slowly and gently to ensure a soothing grooming session. We also accommodate pets with with special needs or requirements.

Grooming Services

Coat Inspection and Preparation

We assess your dog’s coat and check for any warts, moles, open sores etc. We then thoroughly brush the coat to remove any loose hair and tangles.

Warm Water Bath

We use quality hypoallergenic shampoo to give your dog a warm water bath (and add hypoallergenic conditioner when necessary). We clean eyes and ears as needed (If we notice signs of an ear infection, we’ll recommend visiting your vet).

Drying

After thoroughly towel drying your dog, we finish with a warm-air blow dryer to leave your dog fluffy, shiny and dry. Our professional dryers offer different temperature and speed settings.

Styling

We use both professional clippers and scissors, adjusting our techniques based on your dog’s breed, coat texture, and your styling preferences.

Nail Trimming

We include nail trims in all our standard grooming packages.

Fragrance

We finish off with an essential oil based fragrance that smells fresh, clean and delightful.

Extra Grooming Treatments

Teeth Brushing

We gently brush your dog’s teeth using pet-safe toothpaste to freshen breath.

(Note: This is a surface clean only—it doesn’t replace professional dental scaling by a vet.)

Flea & Tick Dipping

We offer dipping treatments to eliminate ticks and fleas on your pet.

(Note: Dipping only kills adult pests—it does not break the full cycle of eggs or larvae.)

Nose and Paw Balm Treatment

We apply moisturizing and soothing balm to nourish dry and cracked noses and paw pads.

Anal Gland Expression

We perform this if your dog is “scooting,” or if you notice a foul smell from the behind area. We manually express full or blocked anal glands during the bathing process.

Deworming

We use veterinary standard dewormers. Regular deworming is important not only for your pet’s health but for yours too.
